Presuming these ships are the aggressors, I don't see the moral conundrum. That _is_ a presumption, though. But with that assumption, would the defenders scruple over killing the _entire_ fleet if it would spare their own? Of course not! And we would not consider them morally bankrupt for that, either.

What is this junk tagged to great SciFi : "Dirty Dancing (1987) Full Movie 🔴 A Night At The Movies | #StayHome #WithMe" ? Andromeda WIPES THE FLOOR with a pathetic movie like Dirty Dancing ! TEN SEASONS ! On a budget smaller than 1 Star Wars catering Invoice ! NOT MANY TV shows Lasted 10 years !!! Stargate SG-1, Andromeda... Even Front Runner Star Trek was broken up into different shows you could glue together for more than ten years... Great running franchise that it is... Even predicted our current 21st Century Eugenics Wars kicked off by toxic sterility vaccines used on women in Kenya, and the Wuhan Flu CCP Virus seemingly tailor designed for "Depopulation of Nations" wiping out people all across planet Earth... Andromeda focused such a GREAT CONCEPT - the Long Night, the FALL Of Civilization, not the powerful Federation or the Jedi run Republic or Sith run Empire... but a 3 Galaxy Commonwealth, broken and defeated, struggling to rebuild space civilization from the broken and separated worlds. Our favorite Than-Thre-Kull said it best: " My Life, My Soul. For the Hive ! For the Hive ! " - Refractions of Dawn, Crimson First Light Glistening, Dewdrops Ignited.

This show was awesome. Rev Bem was awesome. This is one of the few rare sci fi series that hit the ground hard/running, great characters from the get-go. Too bad it slowly spiraled downward. Like in Star Trek TNG it starts out slow, it hurts to watch season 1 and season 2 sometimes as the characters get developed and the actors get used to them, etc. but in Andromeda every character rocked from day 1, especially Rev Bem. I thought this show would make it for sure.
@Chadlton5 жыл бұрын
I did too. Alas, when it comes down to it, Andromeda failed because it was a bit ahead of its time, the producers didn't keep the lead writer and the studio that picked it up after season 2 went under... I often think sometimes what a Re-boot would be like with the original intended plotline.... probably astounding, but, we will never know...
@gwiber3 жыл бұрын
@@Chadlton The fact that Kevin Sorbo wanted the series to go one way, and the writers wanted another... and HE won... is also why the series failed. He wanted the series to concentrate on him more, and yet they had the idea of putting the machine together (they got one piece in one of the later episodes) that could help save the universe. Sometimes being the "star" isn't as good a thing as people think it is.
