All I can say is it was cluster f**k form the start 1 thinking the enemy I’m not organised all well kitted they was on their own land and they had time to fortify 2 American soldiers taking it for granted I’ll be back at base within 30 minutes Therefore, not taking enough supplies water night vision optics ammo rations 3 taking plates at your body armour because she don’t think you’re gonna get shot in the back is asking for trouble 4 Helicopters hovering stationary and the combat zone it was bound to happen 5 negative radio communications is the worst thing you can do as friendly forces will be troubled by this 6 not having the option QRF 7 Knowing the situation straight to the point of target in day light was suicide should of dropped out side the taker area and walked using darkness

Quand j'écoute le son😢 et que je regarde le film 😢 je pense souvent à mon fils qui lui-même fait partie des commandos de montagne des hommes qui voient la mort à des kilomètres arriver 😢 père comblé par le choix de mon fils, je ne sais même pas où il est 😢 que dieu protège nos soldats de l'ombre 😢 sachant qu'après la mort il y a l une vie 😢 une œuvre d'art, qui touche la plupart des êtres humains au plus profond de leurs âmes, paix aux âmes à tout ces soldats morts pour une guerre incontrôlable, quand j'écoute cette musique je pense souvent à mon fils 🇨🇵 honneur et fidélité comme je dis souvent à mon fils le diable rit avec nous 🇨🇵🎖️🪖⚔️😢

Watched it when i was 10 or 11 years old, now i am 20. i wanted to join military always, i tried for officer and got not recommended in fits attempt, i had left one more attempt so i went for it i did my best but got again not recommended a month ago. Now feeling like life has ended for me, i gave up on my dream. And this music literally sunk me in tears at the death of my this dream...

I remember I was so pumped up to join the army after 9-11 and right after black hawk down came out . Good propaganda they sure did get me. But hey I joined for the guy next to me to the left and right.

In the film they made the account seem less graphic. In the novel, Pilla's face and brain were splattered all over the Humvee. Hollywood often tries to downplay a few details to make it somewhat more enjoyable unless you're a hardcore Tarantino buff.

This is what plays the back of a combat veterans head when he's/she's driving to work on trash day. To those who don't know, the threat of IEDs and seeing objects on the side of the road that weren't there yesterday can be quite the gauntlet to drive through. Trauma can make regular life a bit harrowing sometimes.
