Why wouldn't you remove the pillow from the couch before wrapping it? Why wrap the pillow with the couch?
@smartestmover123913 күн бұрын
Just keeps everything together, if not you have a bunch of loose pillows and the chances of them getting dirty or damaged increases. Depending on size of couch I would sometimes remove

No because time of accident it did not deploy. It currently works. You do have to send the airbag module to a company to reset though

@smartestmover1239Ай бұрын
Hey bud appreciate your feedback. The purpose of this video is to show someone how they can wrap up a rug for a move. This is not a long term storage solution. At most this rug will be rolled up for a few hours, really don’t see it causing mildew or mold.

I got mine from a local Toyota salvage yard, from a 4 runner that was not in a wreck. I don’t think you can find a place online due to safety concerns and liability both on parts and installation.

Do you recommend to take out the empty drawers? Or will taping it without damaging the paint Then cloth and wrap? Im thinking of putting things in storage so im not sure if I should disassemble all dressers, nightstands, tables etc?
@smartestmover1239Ай бұрын
We typically leave everything in the drawers and dressers minus anything fragile or breakable. I wouldn’t recommend using tape directly on the furniture especially while keeping in storage for a long time. If your furniture is too heavy with the drawers you can always take them out but you will just have more pieces to account for and potentially damage some of the drawers as well.

I watched to see how you got it up the uhaul ramp because I have to get ours out of storage and there's no angles I can use to benefit me on the ramp angle so it is what it is. We're looking at around 600lbs and my brother and I couldn't do it. I could possibly get two more people but it still seems sketchy and would hate to spend all the money to go try and not be able to do it. We had like 5 mormon kids help us get it in the uhaul the first time and 2 or 3 to get it down the ramp but it was super sketchy.

I have a question.my dryer is a 3 prong plug and my landlord bought a 4 prong plug to attach my 3 prong wires to the 4 prong plug. On my dryer is a green already connected but is it safe for him to attach the 3 wires to the 4 prong plug. Im not sure if im understood but im spooked because i dont want a fire. He actually spliced the wires and attached to the 4 prong plug. I wish i could post a picture. The top prong is green. But my cord has not color. Im kind of freaking is this safe

I went from A GE profile to whirlpool cabrio platinum. However the 4 prong green cord does not reach the green screw on back . I have 2 whites in middle , black and red on side. But the green doesn’t reach . Can we move the green screw closer ? Or should I get a whirlpool cord that has circle hooks???

Is whirlpool cord green wire prong longer ? I saw one on Amazon . That cord has circles at end . Ours has fork like. Can we move the the green screw to a hole to another location on back of machine to get it closer ??

What about a 3 prong plug with the regular plugs 3 prong plugs that’s now installed in the newer homes like front load?
@CM-yw3eg3 ай бұрын
Sounds like you're talking about a front load washer? If that's the case, it is a 120V not 240V (which is what an electric dryer is.) In your case with a normal three prong plug, the thinner blade is the hot wire, wider 'spatula' blade is neutral, and third cylinder blade is ground. Your home may have the older outlets with no space for the ground blade. You could either go to trouble and expense of adding a ground wire from panel to outlet or simply use a 3 prong to 2 prong 120V adapter. It's not ideal but perfectly fine.

Only provlem is not putting the bracket for strain releif is a code violation in most states. Don't post things and bot do it to code. Your video is dangerous and if your home burns up or the person who trusted you knew what you are doing, home burns, your negligence could cause fire claim to be denied. This also puts you liable for a potential lawsuit. Go buy another clamp or don't do the job
@francosepulveda843810 ай бұрын
You mean replace the outlet for a four prong outlet (14-50R maybe) but then change the breaker in the main panel to a 20 amps breaker to protect the washer and still properly grounded and safe. I am not an electrician but I am a huge fan of "grounding things". I believe this setup that I just talked about is not going to be a problem with the "code".

I hope someone knowledgeable sees this and can help me... I bought an old dryer that originally had a 3 prong cord, the previous owners changed the cord to a 4 prong. I have a 3 prong outlet so I am changing it back to a 3 prong. Apparently they lost the ground tab used for the original 3 prong. What can I use to replace that little metal tab?? Any advice will help. Thank you

You don’t need that piece as your not using a 4 prong plug anymore. That was for the ground. Older wire houses were not on a closed Ground Loop
