I've heard Griffin on live recordings before and he didn't sound that much like his father. But he was much younger than. In this song he really sounds like Corey. Since Corey's voice is my favorite of all, I'm glad there's someone younger with a very similar voice. I have to listen to more Vended.

As an ex opiate addict thats how it is when you come off of em. The withdrawals are horrible. Body aches like flu, constipation and you have no energy. Youre tired as hell but just lay there hot then cold, then hot again and you cant sleep. Many times while trying to quit it would be days without sleep. Its the most miserable feeling in the world. You feel desperate and know that theres only one thing thatll make you feel better and thats why people go back and get more. They cant take the withdrawals. Cant take the pain and misery. Took me around 4 years of trying to quit them once i realized i had a huge fn problem so i totally get how he was awake for all that time with no sleep. I know ems addiction and withdraws from it had to have been worse than mine because he had alot more money that i did therefor he had and did alot more of them than i did. Nevertheless though, withdraws are withdraws and anyone thats been there knows what im saying and knows these feelings. Prayers to anyone in active addiction and for the ones that have gotten clean to stay clean. One day at a time!

the production on this is incredible. it has actually directed by Jensen Noen, the band hasn't worked with him before, hopefully that means that mark was filming a behind the scenes video cos that would be really cool to see. they are putting so much care and effort into telling the story they way they have always planned. definitely think there will be something else, whether its another song or video or whatever, maybe closer to the end of the era.

Couldn't agree more. Although i love their old sound. I say that, but every album is completely different they've always added different elements. But id be bored if they still sounded like count your blessings album. This is fresh yet nostalgic. Love it. And the hyperpop breakdown is nuts.
@TokyeoJapan4 ай бұрын
yea when Amo came out it completely polarized me in the sense of "huh.....what is this???" gave it a few more listens and fell in love with it, they have always had energy in their music, but that album helped me feel Oli's soul as an artist, this album has a lot of different messages across it but i can tell he's found peace with the idea of just making music and enjoying it instead of trying to be the best, he used to be so obsessed with it, I'm guess his trip to mexico to do Ayahuasca with his wife killed his ego

Oh my gosh! The first day Routines premiered, I noticed Tyler in bed had some type of movement like what you mentioned , wind?..also, I saw someone in the room with a robe when Tyler says 'I'll show you why' and his head turns towards the window like he's looking at someone? A bishop wearing the 9th robe. Yes, in Lane Boy, his eyes moved with the beat. Looked red . Love this video and the awesome reaction

i remember tyler saying in an interview, something along the lines of 'i don't understand how people can call a song bad if it's something someone honestly wrote' and thats how i feel when i see people hating on SAI. it's fine not to enjoy those particular songs or albums but it's weird when people act offended and annoyed as though they get to decide what kind of music they make. imagine how miserable tyler would be if he let other people write his songs or only wrote songs based on what other people he wanted-they'd probably stop making music altogether.
@TokyeoJapan5 ай бұрын
People are selfish in nature, they tend to want more of the same chasing whatever dopamine release they received when hearing a particular song, over and over again, if we chase art and the beauty in it, instead of always thinking “how can this make me feel better?” We’d be better off || //

this isn’t very neat but this is what i’ve written about my interpretation: next semester is mainly about suicide and suicidal feelings about things you did in the past (“can’t change what you’ve done, start fresh next semester”). it could be about many things. the headlights are a very bright almost LED light, just like the bishops use/worship. the headlights simply are symbolic of death if you don’t wanna get into lore. but i think these headlights that are reminiscent of the bishops’ lights represent in the lore that the bishops’ way is death essentially but going into the dark or getting out of the headlights is hard but it’s escaping something that would consume and end you. “i prayed those lights would take me home” about the bishops’ lights and the car headlights that mean death. “hey kid, get out of the road” could be a person or entity (god?) saving the person from death/suicide. yellow dashes, trench tape, that’s separate from the headlights so it can be part of the “darkness” away from the lights/bishops
