I think it's funny, the idea of hunting for food is technically a crime in the usa unless you pay the government money.

The best thing about your videos is that they are "warts and all" we're allowed to see the real-life issues that occur during training and the steps you take to rectify them so that we can learn. Most of us our here to learn and very often we're trying to resolve some challenges we have, so there's very little benefit is seeing highly trained dogs going through their paces. In fact it can be quite disheartening, you start to wonder if you're the only one with the challenge. Just your comment "this happens to everyone of us" does so much to reassure. This is the hallmark of a great teacher, thank you

Énjoyed uour video as one who truly loved working ducks into a spread. I appreciate your teaching younger or novice hunters. The correct way to use a duck call. I found words like gueet, gueet. Duga duga duga for a feed cakl etc. Always the air coming from my diaphragm. Using my hand to work the call also. That seemed to help me truly sound like a Mallard Hen. As well as the fact that i had my own Mallards / Call ducks in my 3/4 acre hobby farm. Hence i would spend alot of time in my teen years calling to my own birds. Then watching their responses. Calling and working ducks into my 20 yd hole in my spread whilst hunting. That was truly the best part of being out in the duck blind. 💪🏻🙏🏻✨

I love his show and thisjust summarizes and lays out all of the basic methods he uses on the show. What i love about this guide kzbin.infoUgkxKkYeOoCV_w2vPX0CSyVWkhew2c4FYk0d is that you don' need to read the whole book cover to cover ... You can skip to the chapter (lesson) you want to read about. The book is arranged almost as a problem-solving guide ... Here is the problem and here is what you need to know/do to correct it. This man knows his stuff ... But more importantly knows how to teach people how they can work with their pups themselves!

I just rescued a 14month old Malinois that's been severely abused. She's a bit of a spook about a lot of things, but when it comes to gunfire or even my neighbors nail gun she looses it. Thanks for posting this, it's given me some ideas. 👍🐾🐾👍

One thing you didn’t mention about practicing your shouldering for hunting is the safety. When you’re hunting, the safety should never come off until you are mounting the gun and that’s a good thing to practice. If you can’t get your safety off during the shouldering process, you better learn. I was a bird hunting guide for 40 years, and our rule was: the safety doesn’t come off until the bird is in the air and high enough to safely shoot. Taking it off when the dog is on point or ducks are circling the blind is unacceptable. Too many things can happen before you shoot. Great video.
