As you can see, we have cut open to show the extent of how badly the dpf can block, creating a blockage in your exhaust gas flow and strangling your engine, which in turn can create even more issues etc limp mode, poor performance, poor economy, burst intake pipes and turbo damage if not sorted.

@@CGRemaps I thought that was the case mate, I was going to say if you could open them, that would make life so much easier to clean, I just had a blocked dpf on a Vauxhall corsa, no power at all, took it off cleaned it, now power is back, no back pressure coming out of the exhaust, I need to do an oil change though, was over filled by 2 litres, which I think is from the diesel injecting into it

@@nathanhuitson1418 let me guess 1.3cdti? Common problem on this engine too, diesel will get into your oil so make sure you do a oil change asap.

⁠@@CGRemapsspot on mate, I don’t really know a lot about cars, but I like to play around with all sorts, it had one bad glow plug, so changed that too, it’s a 63 plate 92k only payed £300, hoping to make a nice bit of profit on it, I’m just waiting on oil now

V12 with a turbo....makes 340whp. Being a Jag, I'm sure it cost $30k to build too! Sounds beautiful though!

Shows how far technology has come on, a 4 cylinder golf makes that power today. The golf won't ever sound that good, so there is a trade off.

The Golf also has a turbo and was designed as the flagship performance model... The V12 was designed in the 50's and could ultimately be taken to 750bhp+

@@TheBlaert So your saying the V12 XJS wasn't Jags flagship model! The turbo ratio of X 1.4, still only make the 2.0 golf the equivalent of a 3.4 Naturally Asprated engine, and the Jag is 3300cc and 8 cylinders up on a 2.0 golf.

@@EugVR6 the v12 wasn't designed for the XJS is what I'm saying. It wasn't really designed as an out and out performance engine like the Golf R. I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything btw.

Italian style will cause more soot. All electrics on in vehicle, etc heated seats, heated window, ac on max, lights on and a nice long steady motorway run. This is the best way to force a regeneration and stay away from supermarket fuel as well.

Hi, excellent job and video bro. Liked and subscribed. I'll do exactly the same on my Vaxhaul Insignia 2.0 cdti 2013 so your video is massively helpful. My question is how the hell did you took off the oxygen sensor cable connector out (the sensor that is still on before the catalyst). I did remove the dpf but I had to unscrew the plug twisting carefully the cable, not ideal. There is a yellow securing clip on the connector below the upper one which I removed but didn't help. The upper connector doesn't move by any means. Thanks in advance.

Stage 1 remap in your web site shows 278 hp after tuned? But here you say stage 1 is 309 hp? Which one is correct?

Hi, the website stage 1 results is a guide line estimate only, They are not set in stone. We are constantly developing new software every day. If you read under the stage 1 calculator section, we do say higher gains can sometimes be achieved on the rolling road. It also depends on the vehicle, how well maintained it is, what fuel is used, octane rating, and outside temperatures. Lots of factors come into play. Not every engine is the same. Hi, dpf function must be turned off in ecu software. Otherwise you will still get errors codes, limp mode and smoke from unburnt fuel due to dpf regeneration still processing.

Not the correct way to do a CarbonClean walnut blasting is the only way with a full strip down off injectors clean I wouldn’t want any shit like that going through my engine

I own the same car. We did push it a bit harder though. Mine went from 162ps 365nm to 206ps 459nm, gained 44ps and 94nm.

Dpf condition makes a big difference to end results.

@@CGRemaps Sounds about right. Mine had only 110k kilometers on the clock back then. Did you do the dyno run in the third gear?

@@CGRemaps Thats odd. I had the same torque curve when they dyno'd my Passat in the 3rd gear, max torque at about 2500 rpm. In the 4th gear I have max torque at 2000 rpm.

I would like to see if this accualy works with the collectors taken off before and after it was done. Also if it is an option with turbocharged cars. Plus maybe a dyno test before and after.

@@Gianncarlo0216 True. It should be done with new cars every 3000 miles. There is no spray, that can do anything with 70 or 120 thousand mile gunk.
