I've loved watching your show since forever. 30+ years ago, sitting in a car in Auckland city outside a bar, I had an amazing convo with a guy (Shawn, I think was his name) who had been adopted. He said he had no interest in finding his family as he felt they didn't want him, who could abandon their own blood? I actually said he could find out his mother was MADE to give him up & may have loved him heaps so unless he KNEW, he shouldn't hate. Imagine my surprise, I see him on one of your shows. You found his family in England, his parents were young, they were MADE to give him up for adoption. They married a few years later when they were old enough & he had four full blooded siblings. I dont know if I had any part of that, but it blew me away how uncanny it ended up being.

Oh my how emotional was it when Karen and Dorina hugged. No words needed. Karen was the most beautiful mother her eyes when she looked at Dorina spoke volumes like she was saying I’ve brought you our daughter and I loved her like I promised. Beautiful family divided by heartbreak and reunited 30 years later with nothing but pure love. Rosie is an incredible woman I think it would be hard being adopted but she had nothing but forgiveness, thanks and love. I hope the bond remains strong with all of them. Bless you David for all that you do for people. ♥️

There had to have been a mental health issue for the mother to have children and keep adopting them out - something is amiss for sure. Did she not understand that sex = pregnancy? Either that or she was a terrible, terrible woman.

I am glad the practice of taking babies away from their mothers and giving them to barren women is slowly being exposed. The soul wounds are deep and that is why that this practice of treating our offspring as commodities must stop. Hopefully we can empower and support more morhers to keep and rear their own offspring.

Oh god this one just made me cry so badly! I can't believe the trauma they all might have gone through..i wish things were just normal for them, i wished they all grew up together with their mum, i wished their mum never had that accident. Life is cruel ..but I'm happy they are together now

This was the most difficult DNA story I have ever heard. I am glad he is a man of faith to help him accept and forgive abandonment, then finding out his parents had another child they raised together and then nature of their close family relationship. I do enjoy DL Investigates usually , but I didnt feel comfortable this time with delivery
