what about we placed transmitter at NV2, so the pipe get lower first after tapping then get high again. whats the calculation?

Pressure on Low pressure port should equal to the process gas pressure in the tank - Gas pressure will exert in all directions at the same value.

actual dp in this case ( dry leg) is not zero without opening the equalizer valve !!! sg1*h2 can't be equal to sg2*h3, isn't it? other thing i think that BV2 should be open too so that the LP measure cell will be communicating with the empty part of the tank that may be little bit pressurized above the atmosphiric pressure.

100 % diesel means how will get process gas SG again. 100 % means Lp side taping point also filled with diesel. Otherwise Lp side tapping point should be above the 100% .

The video is good in terms of knowledge that it is trying to transfer to the audience. However the video seems very strange. I don't what's the relation between technical analysis graphs in stock market with DP level transmitter. Your video is a tool for communicating your message not for making unrelated visual noises. I tried to fokus on the content and expected your video as a part of your content and then became confused with the visual features there. Don't do that in your next videoes.

Sir . Could WE do this technique of Et leg in process that thé température IS minus 33 and pressure of 60 bar
@KickStartInstrumentation Жыл бұрын
Depends on the selected DPT in which the process temperature falls in the operating temperature. Range of device must also be considered. I have never seen such situation.

Hello there, sir can i ask how did you know the specific gravity of diesel at Hp and Specific gravity at Lp 0.008 how did you know that i know the formula for Density = density of subtance /density of refernce how did you get that please sir answer me to calm my mind thank you
@KickStartInstrumentation2 жыл бұрын
Hello, there are two mediums one is diesel and the other is process gas ( when diesel is vaporised it is not going to be condensated to its original state that is diesel again) or it is considered to be air. the specific gravity of Diesel is 0.8 and the specific gravity of air is 0.001 which is almost equal to zero. (0.008 is also equal to zero) This is not going to make any difference in the calculation. Hope your mind is calm.

We put always the HP at the top of a closed thank. So the range is always negative. In case of leakage we always measure 100% (overfill)

What is to be considered(SG) in calculating LRV and URV if your process fluid is water? SG(air)=0.0013 or SG(water vapour)=0.6218 Or SG(water)= 1

Please explain.. when diesel is at its 100% level.. there is still process gas present in the closed tank..and this process gas is continuously exerting pressure on the HP and LP leg. Why did you not consider the process gas static pressure when URV is calculated?
@KickStartInstrumentation2 жыл бұрын
The calculation is done upto low pressure tapping point which is 100 percent of the tank. And coming back to your question why process gas is not considered at HP side is the process gas acting at this time is very low and the static pressure of process gas is also very low.

When 100% full tank then diesel goes to dry leg and full of diesel in dry leg LP side🤔 please explain what happen in 100% full tank of dry leg🤔 confused
@KickStartInstrumentation2 жыл бұрын
As far as I know this situation will not arise. Why because the overflow will be just below the low pressure side provision.

Nice, but you dont have to open equalizer to make the water flow to the DPT, after the opening the block valve the water directly flows to DPT, the equalizer valve position om the middle of the passage through the block valve 1and 2, but not blocking the passage through the DPT diaphragm. BV1 BV2 | | |__________EQ__________| | | | | DPT and also if you are zeroing a DPT you have to eliminate every pressure to the DPT, or open the equalizer to balance the pressure exerted on the diaphragm.

Good point out @james .. 1st part as well as the later zeroing part.. but in the later part he was adjusting the zero level (as per process c-c distance + tubings to the DPT) and not the transmitter zero. This i would tell you has to be followed even with your dry/ wet calculations of the lrv. Good video keep it up. and also a very constructive comment from james
