Thanks for your feedback. You are right and the league has identified this issue for spectators, too. There is a technical challenge for the RoboCup 2024 to introduce black and white hulls to better distinguish teams.

In my humble non-specialist opinion, SSL league is the most advanced in terms of game quality and strategy. I just wish the opponents colours were more distinct so that it would be more clear where are the different teams players.

Unfortunately, lobbed goals do not count during normal game stages as it would be too easy just to always lob the ball over the opponent defenders. Details in the SSL rules, section 7, bullet point 2 (robocup-ssl.github.io/ssl-rules/sslrules.html#_scoring_goals).

userei una palla più pesante perchè la velocità dei 'calciatori' è maggiore uguale della velocità del pallone. nel calcio vero non è così. forse aiuterebbe a sviluppare un gioco più ampio di possibilità.

The motor used in the video is a Maxon EC16. Motor order number 400160. Our current robot now uses a Maxon EC-max22 (283856).

Why don't you make it easy to tell the teams apart with two very different colours? In this way, it's confusing for us who watch thus making it less attractive.

The constant interruption of the game makes it really unattractive to watch. Why don't you change the rules to allow the match to keep going after the ball bounces on the side wall? This thing has potential to be fun and attract the attention of a bigger public. But in this particular format, it's utterly uninteresting. Despite my deep curiosity and excitement about the possible evolution of this thing, so many interruptions get so much on my nerves that I can't continue watching. Anyway, congratulation for the great job!!!

I wish the got rid of border line, just put boards on the side like ice hockey to the ball can stay inside. That would be lot more exciting this.
