I rather like this style of how-to-install guide. Just show me, and get through to the end. I don't need a lecture in-video on what SysLinuxOS is - I've already looked it up and researched it a bit. I just needed some help getting it install, as my initial install didn't connect to the network on boot, and the GUI didn't start. Followed along with what you did, changing it as appropriate for my system, and everything worked the second go-around. Not sure what I did wrong my initial attempt, but following what you did got me going, and now I can experiment with this flavor of Debian and see if I want it as a daily driver on one of my systems. Thanks!

Close mate, but a few more adjustments are if your using VirtualBox 7.1.2 and above you should enable 3D acceleration before you start the install, so that The Store and Launcher work, otherwise you need to use wayland on login if using older versions. What happens is it will kick you out to the login screen due to it using QT5 to decorate the windows crashing the xserver in old VirtualBox, they mention the 3D Acceleration fix in the latest Change Log. I noticed you tried to move the bin to the bottom right, I left the Auto Arrange on by default as I noticed Cinnamon has a tendency to overlap icons on the desktop as the grid seems to be wonky, they really need to fix it. Anyway, you can right click the desktop and pick Customize and Turn off Auto-arrange. then your able to place your icons wherever you want again. Thanks for taking the time to try this respin. Please let the LastOS tool installation finish before you start messing about, although I don't use auto mouse moves or send key events, it's still not a good idea to interrupt the automation on the first login, or you might cancel the Visual C Runtimes or SetupS installation and then things wont work as intended, it only happens once per new user login, so if your re-installing the same hardware and keeping a /home/ mount, it will not copy the default user or run the First Login scripts.

If you use old Nvidia GPUs with the 470XX driver, I do not recommend upgrading because it has a bug with this driver.
