Hi Rob, I tried FL's stem Seperation, very honestly I wasn't happy with the results. I tried quite a few songs, the best results that I got was from Stem Roller and RipX. One thing I noticed though for different songs and instrumentions some work better than other, happens almost all the times.

I just had to sub... I pick mines up today from guitar center.. these drums make me excited to cook up on that thing.. scoring a 4000 for a $899 is insane... good condition too..

If Linn was so great why didn't he just create more great ideas without Akai? The Original 2 MPCs (60, 60II and 3K) are really the culmination of Roger Linn's ideas and Akai's technology not just some grand idea Linn had. Probably the thing that hurt Linn the most was the success of the MPC's because it made people have high expectations of him which required $$$$ that just weren't available to him. Not even sure the Tempest can be considered a win.

Big respect to the other MPC3000LE owners. I have #0538 modded out with fat pads, blue LEDs, Blue LCD screen, internal SCSI2SD card reader, Vailixi OS 3.50 personalized chips, all new Alps tact switches 32MB RAM and VGA monitor output connection. Cheers from the UK!🇺🇸🇬🇧

Some songs separate easily. Some, not so much. Moises does a good job with most of the songs, but not all. A tough separation is when the guitar and bass are playing the same notes like in a heavy rock riff. A good demo would show a side-by-side audio comparison using a song that doesn't separate well on another platform.

same. i love my 303. it crapped out about 5 years ago (stkll haven't got it fixed) but the distortion, the overdrive, the lpf/overdrive, the pitch, the verb, the phaser, flanger etc!!!! so quality. I had a 32mb card for 16min 44.1/16bit, 32 min 22.025/12 bit. and 10 bit made it 6 times the bit rate and the carbon footprint. awesome machine, when I saw that one issue of Wax Poetics with Doom on the back cover holding the 303? Son, I was in fucking heaven

I don't sell my beats either- I totally agree with you on the reasons and motivations behind it- I don't currently have any big hits or collabs with major artists, but I'm ok with that- If something blows up, believe me, I'd love it and be extremely excited about that- For me, there's something to be said about not letting just anyone have a beat and put something i don't align with over it- I'd absolutely love to be at the point where i can do this full time and not have to worry about money and expenses, i love music- At the same time, I'm not willing to "sell out" or just "give away" my music for pennies and have someone own it... i definitely agree that maintaining control is very important- Love your work man, it would be fun to meet you-

When you were cycling through samples, I was like, yeah that's the one, and you chose the same trailing echo- We have very similar taste in samples- DOPE beat man 👌

Why the fuck are producers even supporting this shit? Always justifying it with nonsense like it's ''innovative'' lool. In 10 years we will all be redundant and guess what? we helped them.
