I came into this video thinking it was how DRS was introduced but good to know that Bucknor was consistently shit.

It's definitely a cricket format of its own, but numbers don't lie. IPL is worth 16 billion USD for a reason. Test Cricket will always be the pinnacle of cricket for us purists, and there's nothing wrong with it.

There are two games: one is enjoyable for participants, mutual respect is prevalent, audience is involved; the other requires everyone to submit to robots, technology and precision. The day might come when the wicket is broken by a ball considered too fast: the umpire's finger will have to be lowered and the bowler will be shamed for too fast a delivery. M. Colin Cowdrey played cricket. The current game needs a new name!

After all these years I've never actually seen the match-ending ...couldn't watch at the time, cause I was working in an English pub that afternoon. Understandably never wanted to catch the 'highlights' afterwards! 😒 Had an 'earbud' in, and was listening to the live commentary...had to head to the storeroom and take some deep, deep breaths so I wouldn't puke. So disappointing! 😮💨 ps. Klusener should have waited to see what ball 4 and 5 offered...last ball, you run no matter what! Not ADs fault

Bucknor was a racist who I don't know why hated Indians. It is Sachins greatness that he didn't make it an issue. If Bucknor had behaved in such a manner against an Aussie they would ensured he was retired way early.

Anybody remember the Jason Gillespie lbw against Sachin. The ball was going well over the stumps & this guy takes ages and sticks the finger up. Absolute clown. How he even umpired at international level is beyond words.

If a batsman's bat is inside the crease but in the air he is considered out. Same goes with this type of catches. Completely fair.

@abirhossen90638 күн бұрын
Technically that was a legal boundary as we can see the bright grass that form under the boundary line due to lack of sunlight. The ball fell on that boundary line even if the boundary rope shifted due to sliding/diving when fielding.
@jginfographics8 күн бұрын
This fool doesn’t get credit when he fucked a test match up and changed its outcome because he was too ignorant and stubborn to use the DRS when it was made available to him. The world is full of arrogantly wrong idiots like this man, who act of assumptions rather than data.

So when batsman hit the bowl for Six then player will go outside the boundary then catch the bowl with jump and will throw bowl inside the boundary line... It should not be legal for fielder to catch anything outside boundary.
@blackgreywhite7 күн бұрын
Boundary ke andar rehke jump karke agar rok le to fair hai agar boundary ke bahar pehle se chala jaata hai tab six diya jaata hai
@antonreyneke61918 күн бұрын
So why on earth would India be against it,maybe because 50/50 decisions went mostly their way,or maybe more Indian umpires,anyway it backfired badly Hard nowdays to think there was a time when none was used

Angelo Mathews reason for change in boundary rule , next time timeout rule...
@madhusudanprabhu36268 күн бұрын
Bullshit rule. It should be a six. The moment you touch the ground outside the boundary and catch the ball, it is a six.
