I love this game! I used to play it in my childhood too. The dressage mechanics are still the best in my opinion. A little tricky, but overall the best dressage mechanics out of every current horse game that I play today!

A weird choice to have the feed bins look like cardboard and for all the feed inside to look like chopped straw or chaff. Another thing of note is that horses cannot eat onions, the white bulbs you see on the side is garlic. I'm not entirely sure if you can give horses raw garlic like that or if it needs to be processed in some way but I do know that they can ingest it. The bottles are highly likely to be oils (I believe one said oil on it) as well as supplimental liquids. The shovel is very out of place and the boxes of vegetables would be ill advised to leave out in a real stable, usually a feed area is kept in a separate room from the horses (cause horses can and will break out and eat themselves sick if such temptation is within view) and they would all be within sealed possibly wooden or metal containers not just for sanitary reasons (to keep the veggies from spoiling due to lack of temperature control) but also to avoid attracting pests. Mice, birds and insects would be easily able to access all the feed on display in this open stable concept so it's not realistic to design it as such. Fun fact; horses also cannot eat tomatoes, potatoes, nuts or acorns. But they can eat; Honey, sweet potato, rosehips, hawthorn berries, blackberries, willow and turnips. Some baby food is also safe to feed your horses, minus any with meat/meat flavourings or any of the above mentioned toxic foods. You can also feed linseed or vegetable oil to your horses they have many benefits. I'm hoping that the official release will have improved upon the god awful gaits, the trot breaks the legs of the model worse than star stable does. The rider is also very shrinkwrapped, scary face, sits funny and always appears thrown back during the horses movement.

There is actually another way you can jump any height with any horse, and it's very simple. Just pick any crate jump. Set it to whatever height you wanna jump manually. Walk over to the 'edit height' sign and bring it down to any height below the horse's scope (you can just put it to 20cm or smth). The pole on the crate jump will stay up in the height you manually set and your horse will jump it as such, but the game will let you jump over it because the game thinks that that jump is whatever height you set at the sign. I jumped Spot 155 cm second try this way, it's a lot easier :)

omg I literally can't wait to play the early access! I was expecting it to be payed from the start, but it says that it's free at least for now! I'm sooooo happy about that. Gotta ask my dad to download it for me (I can do it myself, I'm not that young obviously, I don't need to get permission or anything, I just don't want to download it on the wrong file or something like I tend to do xD) STAT! 😻

Glad you mentioned the jump animation. It's been bugging me. I *think* what's happening is there doesn't appear to be any push off from the hindquarters. The horse lifts its front end & the rest of the horse follows. Their cantering is off, too. The gallop is a little better. They need to undertand about leads & extend that leg a bit further out in front. But I am loving this game. This are minor quibbles. I've played so many games with horribly implemented horses that I can forgive this one something most people won't notice.
