I recently got surpad for using with sparkfuns rtk facet, at work we have trimble access and an r12i. I would say for the money surpad has many many features that I use daily at work and is a great solution. Now if I could just connect it to the serial port on my Nikon dtm 352 total station I would be over the moon!

Does it work with Microsurvey FieldGenius survey software via NMEA? If so, does TILT feature also work via NMEA? Or do you need to collaborate with Microsurvey to implement it? Does it have logging capability for PPK? Does it have a radio to use 1 as base and 1 as rover?

Hello! I installed the Fieldgenius Demo to better address your question. Currently, the program allows for a connection to the internal receiver; however, it does not support Bluetooth connectivity. A potential workaround might involve changing the settings to Mock-Location, but this is not ideal. The GEORA package includes a software built on the popular SurPad 4.2 platform. All features of device are fully compatible with this software and, from my initial assessment, SurPad 4.2 appears to offer more advanced functionalities than FieldGenius. Yes, the receiver is capable of collecting PPK data and comes with 8GB of built-in memory. The GEORA receiver is designed specifically as a network rover and does not include an integrated radio. It's a compact, network-only Rover.

Hello! You can already use Walker RTK with Windows OS. To do this, you need to establish a Bluetooth connection. Our device connects using the standard NMEA 0183 protocol and transmits data via Bluetooth. Software developers, for example OCAD, can use this data for positioning in their program using external receivers.

Hi Adailson Chaves! 1. NTRIP method have a specific distance limit. You should keep in mind that for every 10 km you will have additional 1 cm of error. You will be able to connect to exact Base Station with Baseline distance around 30 km with Helical antenna. But with geodetic antenna you will not have such a limitation. Using VRS (Virtual Reference Station) or AutoMAX network technology this issue will not occur. 2. We can offer SurPAD, SurvX or our own developed geometer SCOUT. 3. No, only network RTK Rover. 4. No, it doesn't have such an option.
