hey amit, linas here, have a question on the planche. How do you train the glutes? because whenever I do something straddled (front lever, 90 degree hold, my glutes cramp. is there any way you train them, preferably bodyweight?
@wrkt.
@wrkt. 6 сағат бұрын
Hey Linas! I’m not gonna lie bro, I have never done a bodyweight glute exercise before. I just hit legs twice a week with squats, leg extensions, hip thrust, ect. one exercise I have heard that is good is the chair glute extension thingy where you lie down on your stomach and press your legs up using your glutes. Sorry that was kind of a shit explanation but hopefully you kinda understood it.

Hmm. Good question! I would say comparing to my past self has helped my confidence and pride increase. However, I don't hate my past self. I just know that I needed more guidance and practice, which I improved on :)) Hope this helps!

This video is very true. Ive been trying to become good at calisthenics, good at drawing and even tried becoming one of the best students, but it just doesnt work that way. The result is mediocrity in all of them. There is always gonna be someone who focuses all his being into one thing and there is really no way to surpass those people with half assed willpower. You must find the few things you truly find appealing and focus on those

Hi bro, before starting calisthenics how many months need to practice basics and what diet need to follow.
@wrkt.
@wrkt. 24 күн бұрын
Hey bro! I don’t think there is a specific number of months that you need to train basics. It really depends on your starting point and how many days a week you train. I’d say just train until the basics get too easy to do. I stopped training pushups when I could do 60 in a row but I still do dips and pull-ups to this day. Just do basics until it becomes boring to do so many reps. As for diet, I’d say eat primarily one ingredient foods. Chicken, vegetables, fruits, beef, grains. Just eat as natural as possible. Hope this helps :)
