@tunesandtunes24 күн бұрын
We can answer any questions! For the knock sensor we took one of the unused emissions pin and wire out of the ECU connector and moved it over to the knock sensor pin, then soldered on a shielded wire and ran it out to the engine bay and soldered on the connector for the knock sensor.

A Greenlee chassis punch is what you want to use to put the hole in the firewall. you also need to plate around the cable mount on both sides to prevent the mount from tearing off the firewall. You will also need a jumper where the neutral safety switch plugged into the harness from the automatic shifter.

fuck swap in a turbo harness and a 2.0l head onto the 4g64 and hammer down! I'm running 19psi on my bastard 4g64 with a 16g and it ain't gone boom yet plus has the added benefit of a good bit more low end grunt over the stock 2.0. Sure hope your saving the talon bumpers! I always find myself looking for more 2gb talon ones.
@camden-shragal2 ай бұрын
We’re absolutely saving the talon bumpers! As for the engine, that was an option but my goal before the shell swap was to do an oem+ build and I wanted to more or less stick with that after we got the new shell, plus the engine in the talon was rebuilt and has much less miles on it. Maybe some day we’ll do a 2.4 build 😉

I approve of mocking the engine in a few times, that way you get the fitment perfect, as for the throttle cable id suggest either a 1g non cruise cable or an '89-'92 colt mirage one if your custom one does not pan out.
