I have the drop point. Seems like every time I see a tanto I like I end up buying the drop point.

Are the thumb studs the same on the non-flipper as they are on the regular eclipses?

Here's a big but relevant predicament for today - S45VN Drop Point or Magnacut Tanto? 🤔

Man out of all knives this is the hardest choice for me, blade shape on the Zaan... both so sick. Love the harpoon on the drop point and ability to choke up, but damn, the tanto on the Zaan with that hollow grind is the sexiest tanto IMO on any Chris Reeve knife and any other knife for that matter. Curious if Magnacut has more of a shine to it than S45VN or other steels. It's looking good!!

I got the same one too. It looks like your blade steel is the same mismarked like mine cts20cv. I think it’s pretty cool makes it unique. I bought mine off blade forums and it’s my first sng. Do you know if this is the fatty model? The blade is pretty thick so I just assumed it was. The guy I bought it from said he wasn’t sure.

Nice Firetac! Are you a hinderer fan with multiple models? I got my first hinderer a little over a month ago. It's also a firetac and I love it! I also recently got a xm-18 3.5 " recurve and have been using that for the last week. Which would you prefer as a daily?
