You need to show the front loop n back loop of the V...n show the bumps on the other side of the V also...n the yarn on the hook doesn't count as a first stitch.. great tutorial ❤

Hello, I was wondering if I didn't have that size of a hook would I be able to use another size for that type of yarn. I've got the exact brand different color mine is the multi color pink n blue yellow. I want to make a blanket for my grand daughter. I started one but curves in and isn't straight. Can you give me some pointers please. I grew up watching my mom crochet blankets thought I knew what I was doing and have found out I know how to make a rug lol instead of the blanket.

Thank you sooooo much!!! I am so glad I found your video. I happen to have a blanket that is mishaped and I did crochet it with hdc stitches. Your solution is brilliant. I didnt realize how much my yarn thickness was changing and how it was seriously affecting my blanket shape. I had used a roving before, and it didnt look nearly this bad. Lol. Plus, I am human, and a good example of an imperfect one. I am going to use this border idea immediately. I may try a ruffled border after I hdc/dc all the way around it. Thank you again!!!
