Nice! I’m from Oregon and my family loves camping. We currently do tent camping, but with small kids and wanting to travel and explore more/ we might soon upgrade to some trailer style just makes it much more convenient and enjoy camping more vs getting to sight and setting stuff up and it taking 1-2hrs 😂 Is there an updated video to the new design anywhere?

I really like what you did. Very practical and fun. If you ever want to experiment with materials, I used to design with Alumilite panels which were strong and very lightweight. It is currigated plastic core, almost like a honey comb with an aluminum sheething on the outside. You probably already know of it but I love the stuff. Looking forward to see what you do next.

1 out 5 stars: Motorbikes are only good in flats with 5" to 10" of powder; they are not good in the mountains. This is a far cry from a snowmobile. Horrible on hard-pack or ice; actually dangerous. They get stuck in over 10" of powder. This is just a cheap electric mountain bike with a ski. If you want a real snowmobile bike, then get a Talaria MX4 ($4k) with a TrackNGo ($4k), 100% better. My kids, wife, and I tried both and ended up ditching the Moonbike and waiting to take turns on the Talaria MX4 with TrackNGo. Night and Day difference. Moonbike staff lied to me and said it would make it to my cabin. Nope! Ran out of juice and it wouldn't make it up hills. They said they would allow me to return it if it didn't. Nope! they lied. Really bad company and really bad product = perfect recipe for bankruptcy.

I am very confused with the galley. Where do you put a cooler or fridge? (No shelf, or slide?) What about storage for a 2 burner propane camp stove ? Place for a microwave? I like the water jug sink set up. I like the 6x12 trailer with propane heater.
@bendteardrop2 ай бұрын
Our build are for the simplistic camper, we'd never put a microwave since they fit into tent sites and are designed for off-grid camping with solar, etc... We don't put coolers in the back because it's not safe to tow with excessive weight in the back of a trailer and it takes up too much space, you're basically putting a cabinet in a cabinet, we just keep cooler in the car since it's the one item that needs to be removed to clean and fill that way the storage area is free for pots, pans, etc... We also prefer to do the hot cooking outside the Galley, it stays cleaner that way.

I love this idea! We have 2 kids and are considering having a third. We love the idea of teardrops and small campers, but space is always an issue. But, to step up, you get to the big manufacturer bunkhouse trailer and there's no more outside kitchen, suddenly there's a bathroom and a microwave and it's now a giant 22 foot monstrosity. I saw you list the price in one of the other comments. Great job adding features and size and still keeping the price reasonable! This is currently at the top of our list!

What is the overall length from bumper to hitch? I have an idea for 6x20 cabin space on a tandem axle setup just short enough to fit in the garage. I have owned a White Water Retro Jr loved it. Had to upgrade to a tent trailer with a baby on the way which was nice for the space but set up and take down was horrible so we got a 26, bunkhouse, we camped less then before when stored in the garage plus storage fees hassle with getting it days in advance to load and charge batteries although nice and comfy what a pain. So I want a longer teardrop now.

We have found electric blanket to be the most energy efficient solution for our square-drop. It applies the heat directly to your body. We put the cloths we will be putting on in the morning under the covers so they are warm when we get up. Over night it also warms the ambient temperature since the heat goes into the air also. With a 200 amp hour lithium iron and 450 watts of panels on top we run a refrigerator, electric coffee pot and electric griddle if the sun is out in the morning. Never have killed the battery.
