That slow wave and slow head Bob from seven means she's submissive and receptive to breeding with him. Just FYI. Slow wave no headbob means she sees she is not the alpha and doesn't want trouble. Careful or you might have fertilized eggs soon if you keep em close like that lmfao

My beardie loves to swim. He'll jump into my pond when I walk him if I let him. One time a small catfish tried to eat him and he bit the fuck out of it and it was the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Nice! I miss my savannah monitors.. You might place a bigger water dish in there, size big, because the savannah monitor defecades exclusively in the water basin. So easy to clean and take out is preferable. They also like to soak without messing up the water. In Africa they live always near water is what you need to know. This small it needs higher humidity. Don't let the fact it seems to be a desert dweller fool you. I adopted several V. exanthematicus monitors from people thinking they bought a bearded dragon. Which actually is also not quite an easy lizzard, but I wonder off topic. Have fun with your monitor! 🔆 🔆

last I checked Leos are crepuscular but it really varies gecko to gecko. My 7 month old is more active during the night and spends all day sleeping. Your tank looks amazing for a young leopard gecko, and he looks so healthy! I applaud your exceptional care and clear love for your little lizard friend ☺️ Is he a Diablo blanco? If so, he’s gorgeous! He does look petco/smart coded tho (so does mine lmao it’s not necessarily a bad thing) Edit: the only things I found about leos being cathemeral were blog posts and forums (inaccurate sources) and in my experience, they’re just active when they feel most comfortable

I think crepuscular may be a better way to explain these geckos! I just saw what it means and it describes it very well, and thank you, yes blue is from petsmart i went when they were selling them for $20 and he was the only little guy without any color so I grabbed him, im unsure of the morph though

@@DaunosExotics he’s from petsmart? I’d make sure he doesn’t have any parasites or diseases if you haven’t already! And if he’s from petsmart he’s probably a Blizzard. My girl is a blizzard but she’s from a breeder. Chain pet stores have a history of buying and selling ill reptiles from mills (which you probably didn’t know which is okay, just for future reference. Don’t feel bad for buying into that b/c you’re giving him a good home)

@@DaunosExotics my dad got rid of them bc they didn't make him any money and my dad bred them but he kept putting their eggs to close to a heat lamp this was year ago my dad didn't really know what to do with eggs during that time

He gave them to a Japanese man but I also see alot of people try to pinch geckos tails off but I'm guessing the dude had other geckos and hopefully doesn't pinch their tails to make them fall off
