I will never understand why the gym building and the gym battlefield are in two different places. What is the building even for? ~*~*~ I can't get over the fact they acknowledge that while you can't have your Pokemon out indoors, the NPCs are allowed to even though it's a safety hazard.

I will never understand why they put you in a school and then had you spend exactly 0% of your time there.

If I had to guess I'd say Uva means Grape since it's the on the school crest.

My absolute favorite level of this game! Imagine the sand KINGDOM you could make with all this sand.

I love the idea of of Diantha having a Furfrou with a unique cut that you can unlock after defeating her. And I believe this is the first and only game to actually acknowledge your role in saving the world and your achievement of beating the E4 and Champion.

Secrets and Plot are such a coin toss in this game, since sometimes you can't get the secrets without the plot and other times secrets lead you to plot anyway but at least you can collect them.

New Headcanon Acquired: Lysandre thought the machine was ready to fire, but was then informed that it wouldn't be ready for another day.

Instead of just getting rid of the character customization altogether, Game Freak slowly phased it out by making the clothing so expensive it just wasn't feasible to customize your character and be able to afford your regular supplies.

You'd be surprised at the number of Pokemon that can learn Surf that aren't Water types. It's especially hilarious when it's a type that's weak to Water.

I've always been fond of Rhyhorn's/Rhydon's design as well. I don't think anyone likes Rhyperior's design. The first and only Pokemon I've ever had a visceral "I HATE IT" reaction to was Impidimp.
