Bullshit . High level karate masters would knock out any wing Chun master.

Yes the karate founder had been trained in White Crane Kung Fu for years in China before he return in Japan and modified his Kung fu with Japanese thoughts. However when he crated karate it was very similar to White Crane and later other karate styles where developed from that so it still has similarities with the White Crane.

He should follow his brother Gray Lam to learn Wing Chun more ten years at least.He knows Wing Chun nothing.
Its ridiculous to argue and debate over which martial art is best or which country is the better country for martial arts. Most countries have their shares of great martial artists and poor martial artists, regardless of the martial art that they train in. Just realize firstly that the martial art that you train in is less important than your ability in that martial art, and secondly that you don't have to be the best (country or individual). You can share the martial arts spotlight.

Interesting! Didn't know that this was in Biu Jee. From what I've seen, it's fundamentally different from the Aikido and Jiujitsu versions as the sweeper steps out and actually hooks the opponent's leg using the toe rather than sweeping the side or reaping with the heel. And I was referring to Northern Mantis - almost half their game is sweeps and low kicks
@gragrn12 жыл бұрын
The foot sweeps are from the bui gee form, they are also found in Judo, Ju-jitsu, Aikido and many other styles. As both Southern Mantis and Wing Chun originated from pretty much the same area its not surprising they share similar techniques.

That kick that split Kurata-san's legs is defn a Mantis tech.
