Hello Sweet Softies. Thank you so much for this video. Mine came out very cute. I love it and will make many more. May I please suggest that when starting with the magic ring PLEASE go slower each project. Its really hard to make sense of it so quickly. It may be in another tutorial of yours but to keep flip flopping is time consuming when it can just be in each one just a little slower. Even under 10-15 seconds. I have used a less bulky cotton too and love it even more!! Your videos are so pleasant. ❤

This is very good. I have done a lot of these before and this was by far a favorite. I wondered if you have any patterns that would yield a smaller fish but the same shape?
@SweetSoftiesКүн бұрын
So glad you enjoyed my tutorial!! 🥰 I have a smaller fish called the “candy fish” (also a free tutorial on my KZbin channel) but it’s shaped differently. Might be worth taking a look to see if you like it though!

I am SO SO VERY EXCITED for you and your family! I am a huge fan of home birthing when it is a safe and viable option! I find it so empowering, as a woman specifically, to be able to make this decision as well as, to be surrounded by my “safe space”, when possible. I truly/personally believe the subconscious and conscious effects of being immersed in a place where we see-touch-hear-smell things and people (or even pets) that make us most happy leads to a naturally calming, positive, and peaceful benefit and is so amazing, if possible. Brightest blessings to you and your baby, your family and also to those who will attend your birth! I am so glad you’re sharing with us! Thank you! ☺️🫶🏻 ~ Lisa in Ohio
@SweetSofties2 күн бұрын
YES, THIS!!! Thank you so much for the uplifting encouragement and support! Much of the commentary I get about home births leans towards the negative, so it's really refreshing to hear from someone who has the same perspective as I do! Thank you for the warm wishes Lisa, I really appreciate you! Hugs!

Thank you for doing these videos. It's helpful to observe how you interact/prompt response from the child. I've been doing it intuitively (based on my knowledge in behaviour change as an academic), but I find your videos useful and informative and will try some of your strategies
@SweetSofties4 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I think intuition is SO critical!! I'm sure your intuition and what you've learned through academia is highly valuable! I'm glad my video is helpful though! <3 I come at this from a speech-language therapy lens (I do have an academic background in education and psychology but my primary training is in speech/language), so it's helpful for me to also learn from others who have different training/background!

I’m trying to make the super bulky one and I’m at the point where I have to do the gills. In the beginning of the video I can see that the bulky one has both of the colours on the gills. Can you please explain how did you do that part? (My guess is, that is the same process like the small one just with the body colour and plus one more row sc around with the dark pink colour maybe?)Thank you in advance! ❤
@SweetSofties4 күн бұрын
Hi! Are you referring to the Mama Axolotl pattern? That one is a separate design and has two colors for the gills (the free axolotl pattern shown in this video only has one color for the gills). If you're interested in the other pattern, you can find it here: payhip.com/b/kvOyl Please note that the bigger axolotl pattern is also no-sew but it's a written pattern (with photo references) only, not a video tutorial. Hope this helps!!
