To answer your questions, since I posed both to Matt, he's said he doesn't look back fondly on that time. He was having issues with stalkers/crazed fans, the band was breaking up and the previous year he'd had throat surgery. He likes Truffle Pigs, and plays it live occasionally. Iirc, there was one or two songs played from the album during a tour with Sloan and Treble Charger (Hard Liquor and Handguns) in 2001 for Loser Anthems, including Fall of Man and Carmelina. Since then, he's played various versions of Advertising on Police Cars, and Truffle Pigs solo.

Great tune. Figment was also played with this band from Fredericton, NB.

How much would tickets to this shitpile of a show cost. I remember when my dad told me my grandpa was dying when I was 10. That was way funnier than this hack.
