I disable RTH when im flying in a car, when i need to land we just pull over and i land near the side of the road. but yeah no RTH, wouldnt want it heading back to where i started unexpectedly lol

the theme song was written by a man named Alan Babbitt who was the director and producer of the show for the first 8 or so episodes, he is still around and does some really cool photography along with writing songs. I didnt have any of the lyrics to go by aside from remembering "chartreuse" and with the mandela effect surrounding the color it made the search even harder...thank you for "taking a look" Im searching for more episodes and if i find them i will be sure to post them :)

Im glad I could help, it was only due to someone uploading an episode to the internet archive a few months ago that i was finally able to locate an episode. I do hope this sparks some memories of others that watched this as well.

I have been searching the Internet for any info regarding this show for years. I used to absolutely love this show, and watched it in the late 70s and early 80s on WDCN channel 8 in Nashville, TN. That was our PBS station when I was growing up. Thank you guys, your mom truly brought me happiness and comfort in those days. Also, thanks to the poster. I really appreciate seeing this once again!

I've made many attempts to find this on the internet in the past. My 1st grade teacher used to roll in the TV cart and would play these shows once a week. This was about 10 years after these shows were made. What a wonderful memory from my early childhood in south Louisiana and the host and theme song are exactly as I remember them. I especially remember the overabundance of primate pictures during the show opening😂

this was with a 7 inch kwad, i didnt have GPS or anything at the time so i didnt send it too far out, but now i have it setup to run a 5s 4400mah,gps,beeper ect..i can get a good 20 minutes on it now so ill be sending it out soon

you get up for sunrise and have 2 hours before its 110 degrees out...3d printed planes will warp and melt if left outside here for any length of time, the rest of the stuff can handle it...we tap out before the wings and kwads do either way

no i hit RTH but it had already rebooted and wouldnt let me do anything, i ended up handing controls off to a buddy who was able to see it out in the distance and glide it back home...at least that how i think it happened lol
