concert pianists don't mash on their pianos though... He's good but why does he have to rush? He's a great piano player don't get me wrong, but I feel like in some parts he just plays fast just for the sake of playing fast.

It sounds like a bad kid banging on a steinway and i write music. Its not all about powerful chords and BOOMING bass notes and fast arpeggios. Yes he has talent but the hard banging gave me a headache. I really want to love it but i cant. It has no real dynamics. Its just an adrenaline rush the whole song.

Nutty? Yes. Best? Definitely not. Spamming the piano as fast as you can in some spots is mistaken for skill. Very very skilled but if you pay attention a lot of what he plays is repeated and just gets faster.

Best player? Nothing compared to sergey belyavsky playing rondo Fantastique. At 9:22 on his recording is just ridiculous.

Banana Battle Bean definitely agree. I mean, have you even seen sergey belyavsky play rondo Fantastique? At 9:22 on his recording makes this video seem like child’s play lmao
