Kinda feel like it's also KZbins' fault. Some KZbinrs obviously just want more and more, but the amount of money you get for views is getting lower. KZbin also puts in more ads than ever with no quality control, so more people then ever use adblock. Without sponsors, a ton of youtubers wouldn't be able to keep investing time into quality content because doing it full-time would straight up be impossible.

You're very right On one hand i still feel that youtubers shouldn't be promoting said products in the first place but if you look at it their way, they have an increasingly smaller and smaller fallback of income due to youtube's stricter adevrtisement guidelines/just ad revenue in general, so they kind of don't have a lot of other options other than to take anything they're offered. I still think it's worth mentioning that KZbin themselves aren't really villains themselves, because it's no secret that youtube is wayyy bigger than it was 10 years ago, meaning people joining the monetization program and more money expended, so naturally they aren't just gonna keep handing it out generously. Basically, money rules this platform, and you can look at that a good or bad way but at the end of the day it's just how it is.

@@goldenguy7470 he has plenty of potential (e.g. the open world game he was going to have) but it’s just one of those IPs Nintendo has no interest/can’t work on because it’s a franchise that’s literally built on 3rd party developers. I think it’d be a good idea to maybe let mercury steam or something work on a game instead of retro since they clearly have their hands full right now.
