For all the people who may have wondered this for years, the song that starts playing at 2:00, when Clarkson is in the store, is called Sukiyaki 1, and it's by Adam Routh, from the album Bruton

I had a -97 Mercedes and going over a bump I felt it lift me up from it graciously but firmly, go over that bump in my 10 years newer Lexus, its the same. That tells me how good MB was in the 90s, way ahead of its time.

Dang, Jeremy is super condescending towards Japan in this video, it's wild. That European superiority complex.

Here we are in 2024 and Japanese car culture is popular in the West. Drifting is still very cool and Japanese cars from the 90s are very much in demand. The GTR is iconic and very much in demand today.

The Japanese cars of that age were the pinnacle of modern cars. Cheap, insanely reliable, highly moldable, and fun. Of course you wouldn't expect an Englishman to have any style, they've never had any, but to say a skyline is ugly is straight blasphemy.

I dreamt of being an auto worker…. Everyone worked at the f150 plant. Then they shut it down in 08. Graduated in 04. Was supposed to walk right in but they said I could still take a job but I’d have to go somewhere else when the plant closed. I stupidly said nope. Never left my hometown but did find a career working with and around cars.

Cuba is the part of the Americas where the spanish spoken is the most similar to the accent and vernacular of Spain. That's because it was the last Spanish colony, breaking away in 1898 from the old spanish empire. Most other hispanamerican nations like mexico, colombia and Argentina have a very different accent from spain.
