Reminds me of when I was a boy. My dad had the RW albums. I would take every one out carefully and listen to it. Always liked the Grampa voice. But those times were different. People were more “present” and reliable. Less inclined to be selfish and sentimental. So when RW belted out the tender lyrics of this song, words were spoken that we didn’t hear that often. Moreover, we felt the feelings of the songwriter, as carried to us by the gentle melody. The world was a different place!
