A notification said that we had to take the “Checkpoint Exam: Basic Network Connectivity and Communications Exam” before September 15. I registered for the course after that date. Could this cause problems?

No need to worry. The deadline for the “Checkpoint Exam: Basic Network Connectivity and Communications Exam” has been extended until September 23rd, so you will still have time to complete it.
