A useful video for getting your first hexagram. However any hexagram can change into any other hexagram. That means 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 changing lines. 64 possible second hexagrams. Your method always gives the same 2nd hexagram which is invalid. You could use your procedure twice to get a “random” 2nd hexagram and a “random” number of changing lines.

My goodness you have got the Tai Sui prediction spot on....I'm a wood Dragon 1964 and have had bad luck since 2024 started. Had cancer scare with lump on knee that had to be cut off. Wife had lump in breast with cancer scare. I got food poisoning 2 weeks ago which is still ongoing, left my job because of friction with boss, and lastly got scammed with a loss of nearly £8'000 yesterday...So yes, Tai Sui is kicking my arse this year good n proper. I just want this year over as soon as possible.
