Why didn't you just tell them you have a BLACK Pomeranian with sun-bleached fur???? That way they would know what you were talking about. They contacted you with color issues on Peanut because they can easily see that you have a BLACK Pomeranian...Not a CHOCOLATE one. That's why they couldn't understand why you kept insisting on the dog being Brown. Had you told them she's a sun-bleached black, they would airbrush reddish highlights all over the topside of the dog giving it the correct hue.

Combine egg white (40g) & sugar (70g). 3:38 2. Stir constantly over low heat, until it becomes white and well mixed and reaches a temperature of 110*F. 4:17 3. Remove from heat, and stir as it cools. 5:09 4. Once cooled, use whisk mixer to mix on medium-high for 5 to 7 minutes. 5:54 5. Add vanilla extract (1/2 teaspoon). 6:20 6. Mix for 5 to 7 minutes on medium-high. 6:24 7. Mixture should be runny but holding its shape. 6:50 (6:57 is example of mixture that's runny, but NOT holding its shape. Mix at minute intervals until desired consistency.) 8. Add powdered sugar (20g). 7:28 9. Mix for 5 minutes at medium-high speed, and afterward reduce speed to low for 30 seconds (this step eliminates air bubbles, which reduces the chance of meringues cracking!). 7:41 10. Mixture should be glossy and have soft peaks. 8:10 11. optional- add food coloring at this point. 9:31 12. Add to piping bags. 9:50 13. Create meringue shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 10:58 14. Bake for 60 to 90 minutes at 165-175*F, aim for low and slow, adjust as needed for your local elevation/humidity/device. 14:28 (her results at 15:05, they cracked and developed 'feet' despite her having checked on them 15 to 30 minutes in to them baking) 15. optional- decorate with gel (1 tsp powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp water, food coloring. Alternatively, just buy writing gel). 15:58 16. Enjoy!

I agree with every single point you make about bound Vs binder. I have chosen a binder for all your reasons and more. One thing I'm struggling with, and nobody on YT talks about it: how to deal with the index. I was watching a video by Ryder explaining how important the index is, and I agree with his points too. So, how do we "binders" set up a working index? I will post this question in other videos hoping that someone will come up with an answer, I hope that person will be you because I really like your approach.

You baked them too long. You bake then turn off the oven and leave them in the oven for about 4 hours. Don't open the door. Humidity can also play havoc with meringue

I think cuddle clones are better. The plushies are more realistic.

I use regular every day notebook loose leaf paper cut in down punch it and put in or I should say on disc like (happy planner and a happy planner cover) I love it so much.

I thought of ordering from there but I ordered from Cuddle Clones instead. They did great on my cocker spaniel. I ordered another one of my Jack Russell that just passed away. I bought a so called clone of my dog from " cuddle clone" what I got was nothing like my dog !! I paid £240 for something I could bought in a toy shop for £20 it would had been a better match !! After endless mails and messages I filed a complain with my credit card and reversed my money. Still lost £50 duty and tax I had to pay !! I really want a clone of my dog ,would petsies be better ???

I just got mine the other day and I’m a little disappointed, while it does look a like my dog but there’s parts they got wrong and the fur on it for some reason feel dry, hard and a bit rough in some spots for reason

After giving some more thought, is it possible Petsies could've air-brushed color on Peanuts' fur? Sort of like brown highlights, adding some authenticity to the black color of her fur? Just a thought ~ and I know it's almost three years later and a bit late for suggestions!!

Really timely! I just discovered Petsies last week and was impressed, though I think they're better with dog plushies than with cats. I'm interested in a replica of our late, white Persian kitty "Calla", been hunting for the purr-fect animal replica makers! Love that Petsies is American-based and their artists have a 3-4 month training period. Thank you, T Pow, for giving your insights and experience using Petsies. When I can finally afford I just might use 'em!
