There is only one word that fits perfectly with what Alex did to Jo. It was cruel. It was simply cruel. This was literally the worst ending they could give to his character, completely lack of respect for years of growth and character development, it all went down the drain.

But still he should have told all truth to Jo by himself not by letters.

i only watched the series because of alex and jo, after he left for me it's over, i love this girl as an actress and in real life, I would never trade her for Izzie,never never never, I know Alex left the serie because he wanted to, but they could have at least left them married and him working somewhere else, the way they made him leave was ridiculous, out of the blue love Jo, get a divorce, I'm so angry about this now my opinion why he left the series in real life now remember the movie mr and mrs smith I think the same thing was happening the writer was increasingly bringing them closer in the series, friends, living together, engagement, marriage, work together, party together, just put the pieces together I know that in real life he is married, he has 3 children, she is also married, he has 2 children too, on his part, imagine, in real life, he comes home, changes his habits, starts to act differently, the woman starts to think silly, and suddenly she sees that her husband is changing, sees that his job he works with a beautiful woman, super sexy what she said to him, you work a lot, leave your job, let's spend more time with the family, she doesn't say anything to him, but puts ideas in his head, let's spend more time with the family, because I think that's because after he left, he deleted his social media, and disappeared from the map, very strange, he was one of the main actors, he had one of the best stories of the series, Alex and Jo, giving an example of what love is, a marriage, in health and in illness, and than nothing, he leaves the serie, think about it, if what I'm saying is wrong, for me I think it was happening just like brett bitt and angelina juliie, and your wife saw this difference in his behavior, and what happened happened that is my opinion why he left the show I love Jo on the show and in real life the show could convey a better image about love and family, just like it did with Alex and Jo the series is getting horrible, sex, sex, and more sex, changing couples, no one stays with anyone, no family example, horrible That said, I loved Alex and Jo's story, I'll keep it for the rest of my life, I hope one day I'll find someone just like Jo in my life, and I'll never do to her what happened on the show. I'm very sad, angry, disappointed, all together, I loved this program, now I don't know what to think anymore

They could have written it so she moved to the country with him and been a stepmom to his kids. Finding out you have kids doesn't mean you have to be with their mom?

I'm crying my eyes out right now, just watched this episode. this doesn't make ANY SENSE. Alex could have been in his children life and be with Jo too, I live with my mother since I was five and my father still part of my life, we live perfectly and they're not together, thing is, HE CHOSE IZZIE. He chose to be with her instead of with Jo and that's what's completely nonsense about the character. Fucking hate it

For me, Karev ending makes sense. He must have been abandonated for his fathers, so he didnt want that to his sons. He think they should have the pleasure of grow up with him. He loved Jo, but his history with Izzie was like... intense. She was the love of his life.

All of that redemption, SIXTEEN ENTIRE SEASONS OF CHARACTER DEVLOPMENT, just for them to SHIT all over it and turn Alex back into a douche. I get he wanted to be with his kids, but he did NOT have to leave his fucking WIFE to do so. Izzy left HIM with nothing but a note, left their marriage, and he was CRUSHED, he was kinda fucked up after that ordeal, so he...did the same shit to Jo? HELL NO! Hell. No. That's such BULLSHIT! I'd have rather he died than left like that. A note? A fucking NOTE?! Couldn't even give her the decency to break it off to her face? He had the BEST character development of the entire series, hands down, and they ruined it with that ending. I will never not be pissed...
