I feel like the tasty type should also resist rock kinda because salt preserves food lol

i feel like sinistea and polteageist shouldn't be tasty type since theres no food just a soul in a pot kind of taking the shape of food [also cool fact i remembered during the why is sweet scent normal type is that the binturong smells like popcorn]

It's funny I came across this because I, too, was making a Food type for a personal project of mine (that's not Pokemon) and came to similar conclusions (Resist Ice, Weak to Water, Strong against Psychic and Fighting.)

In X and Y, I immediately decided which starter I wanted when I saw their first forms. I stuck with it, and its final form ended up being playable in Smash! I made the right choice! (Yes, I did like Froakie as soon as I saw it, it’s just a funky little frog.)

I was trying to make up a region based on South Carolina (lifelong resident of the SC upstate), and one idea I had was regional variants of Sinistea and Polteageist based on sweet iced tea. Another idea was a vampiric deer tick that evolved into a vampiric daddy long legs. I also had a few that I had to throw out because of Scarlet and Violet, like a grasshopper that was basically a Kamen Rider. And, of course, the pseudolegendary was based on the Lizard Man. Also, one thing that annoys me is when search engines seem to think “southern US” and “South America” mean the same thing.

The reason “tasty” sounds weird is probablt because types are named as a noun, while tasty is an adjective i like it tho, silly billy edit: if u wanted it to be weak to ice, you could go for freezerburn or food being less tasty or fresh after freezing

I feel like tasty being weak to poison and resisting both fire and ice could be interesting. eating something poisoned wouldn't be pleasant, and fire and ice are different ways food is served. maybe even have moves like incinerate or freeze dry be super effective on it could work too.

Eh... I can see Poison being super effective to this type. All food eventually succumbs to becoming rotten. The best example are fruits. Fruits make so much sense for this since they ferment and become toxic due to their alcohol content. Due to the fact that all food becomes rotten and the fact that some food decomposes and becomes toxic, I can see an argument that Poison can be super effective against this type. It makes sense for the type chart since Poison itself isn't striving to be a heavily offensive typing (literally had 1 super effective interaction for 4 generations due to it being super effective against Bug in Gen 1), it wouldn't make it this overpowered type from this unlike smth like Fairy.

Honestly I can see a hypothetical Tasty type resisting Fire. I mean... Food is cooked. That just makes it safer to eat and tastier.

I really like the water starter, it was my initial choice, I think it’s ridiculous that we haven’t had a dog starter pokémon yet(fennekin doesn’t count,) and water type is perfect because dogs r real slobbery lol. But after I saw the fire javelina my feelings were mixed, it’s very cute and I love it flint tusks concept, maybe it’ll evolve into a fire/steel or fire/rock type? I think I’m gonna stay on team dalmisty for now until I see the evolutions. (My theory for dalmisty evolution typings is water/ground.)

I like the concept of food monsters, I used some in my own game but I didn't make it a type. I feel like a food type would be incredibly difficult to add to pokemon in a similar way to how fairy type was added. I think it would be better for a mon game to have all food monsters and then just use types to separate them like hot food, cold food, vegan food, junk food, etc.

I haven't been actively interested in the FNAF games for a while now, but this video brought back all the memories of what made me love the series in the first place, what made it special. "Intimacy" in the title was what made me click - I think the best horror is intimate, it's personal. It worms its way under your skin...it's right there in the room with you. I hope this channel blows up, your obviously deserve it. Cute art, polished work, great ideas.
