I own the yellow 1st gen.650s.4th one I've owned as well as the sv1000s.Possibly the best all round motorcycle I've ever owned and that includes some big inline fours,couple Of goldwings over the years.Fabulous machines whichever generation you go for.Engines are bombproof!

No....those engines are different! The ZRX shares that engine. I miss mine! But it made the way for me to buy my ZX14 (ZZR1400). If you compare the ZZR1200 to the ZZR1400 bodywork, you'll notice the similarities with the headlights and taillights. Talking about the power. With a good rider it'll give a Hayabusa a run for the money! And will sometimes win! And thats without fuel injection! I hate that this bike gets skipped over. It should be a rarity due to the years it was made! 2002-2005. Think about it. The ZZR1400(ZX14) came out in 2006!

Its called a California stop. Not legal - but very fun and habit forming i do it bcz the stops are unnecessary hihi if there's 0 traffic. BTW- I have a Dl 1000 2012. Excellent motorcycle and I absolutely love it. Haven't taken a trip yet but short jaunts - wow - what power there is. 100mph is a couple of seconds. Thank you Mr Suzuki - best motorcycle ever, 😂

the SV650 looks like a toy, gives enormous joy whilst riding yet it's not a beginner bike. 70 HP isn't a joke

What is fantastic about this bike on road trips. If you need to get away from a possible bad situation in traffic, just twist the wrist a little and your Gone. Great safety factor... Cheers.

beautiful bike run forever with proper maitenance due to for whatever reason lack of popularity lets ya pick up a low mileage 89 90 for a couple of grand cross the continent 50 miles to the gallon when every thing seems to be way out of line food shelter fuel costs are some how being driven into the stratosphere...and the very few are the recipients of the very many 's daily toil...its nice to get a break wind in the face

I have that exact bike, just completely stock. My only complaint is the stock seat. It is absolutely awful. A sargent seat, Murph's bar risers and a ecu flash made it perfect

I had this exact bike same color .same pipes I loved that bike I will never forget some dude on a 45K Geezer glide started talikng samck about my bike has 10K in motor work. Its 150hp on the Dyno . And it will do 150mph. I said well lets go. Of course it went real bad for him I played with him till 120 The just rolled on past giving him a little wave in my rear view . When we got back he was so pissed. I just laughed when he heard the specs he was shocked . I let my boy T5 check it out . He also had built fat boy . He said it was the fastest bike he ever rode .

Great bikes not a wheelie machine though . It likes to come up but don't do it you will cook your front cylinder and turn it into a 325.
