Jim's love for primates was as strong and steady as his love for Allison. Her love for him shows in her keeping his dream alive and thriving. Long last Monkey World. May Allison know that we love her as well as all those keeping Jim's dream alive.

That should be _Glé mhath_ (not _math_ ). I don't recognise what you're trying to say for 'Good evening'. There was something odd about how you pronounced _fliuch_ (Listen here : www.faclair.com/Listen/fliuch.mp3 ). Scots Gaelic dictionary with sound files getting (slowly!) added here : www.faclair.com/ The Welsh is more or less OK but you often accentuate the wrong word or syllable. The online Welsh dictionary is here : www.geiriadur.ac.uk/gpc/gpc.html But a good try overall, pob hwyl i chi! / Cothrom na Féinne dhuit! :-)

Just as a start....Three needs to have a flipped r, 7 and 8 both need a final click or hard K in the throat sound after the ch sound. deug also needs to be finished. It be fair it is hard to learn this language without being with a speaker or teacher as the consonants are complex.

I only knew Charlie through the TV screen but his story touched me hugely. I am so grateful to Jim, Alison, Jeremy and everyone at Monkey World for rescuing him and ensuring he had love, care and freedom in his latter years. Those wonderful people went a long way to make up for the terrible cruelty he had suffered. God bless everyone involved, both here and in the next world. Love is all that matters! X

hey, what do you mean that you were the adoptive parent for 5 years??
@janmcguire52682 жыл бұрын
Usually, these are symbolic adoptions where the adopter supports the animal financially and sometimes receives pictures or updates through the mail.

A few years ago when I started to watch Monkey Life I got to know Charlie and remembered him more than the rest of the chimps as he was distinguished in his behaviour and you couldnt help really liking him even though the behaviour was from his past. I always remember the episode where we were told he goes crazy when the tanks used to go passed. I went to monkey world not long after watching monkey life and remembered being really happy to meet Charlie albeit through the glass. RIP Charlie.

I hope this sort of helps as it was done in a bit of a rush, I had to listen to what I said to remind myself as I typed so it was done kinda quickly. Thank you for offering to help though. It's not easy learning how to speak gaelic and not living in Scotland as there are no provisions for classes here and so I'm having to do it all through various teach yourself courses and online. It's nice to know at least one other gaelic learner who is willling to help. I have been asked in the past by......
