Not only its a great idea you basically recycle and reuse the broken discs and dont need to throw them away you can even make yourself some colorful ones haha!

Yes, a crack in a glass can never be removed because of its shiny surface between the cracks and its internal reflection. But at least it can be reusable.

its due to the low quality wires are used and they get damaged on the joints easily. If its replaced with a high quality wire, it won't happen again.
