Hard times you say. They were the best of times, we had everything, the garden outside the door, the goats on the hill, the hens sitting on the half door, which was left open night and day I could go on and on, the parish was the family.

Life was much simpler they didn't need a wage of 800 a week to cover a car ...mortgage a phone bill just enough to live better times in my opinion
