Great conductor. As a musical performer, horn sounded a tad bit out of tune at times, and some flat areas in the timing/flow and energy at times, but otherwise, good. I give it an 8/10 and B+. This piece requires near perfection of excellence in energy and musicianship due to it being one of the greatest musical pieces ever written and composed by Handel about THE most significant event this world will ever know. Therefore, performing it must match that Heavenly level. Best to perform this in the morning when all professional performers are filled to the max with the energy they'll have throughout the day. Also, it takes performer's personal private behavior to be clean and pure to match the majesty and royalty of the ONE of whom they're singing, the Lord Jesus Christ. You can't fake it. You must feel the personal virtue and worthiness of the performers when singing this. If they're not one with the spirit in sincerely giving all glory, praise, honor, and credit to THE KING, it can sound lacking and flat. Not saying you have to be perfect, but your heart has to be pure and clean in your motive and intent of loving Christ when you sing it. Trying to choose to treat others like Christ did in every situation is a mandatory prerequisite to performing this galactic number. It's more about the spirit in which you bring when you sing this, more than perfection of hitting the exact notes and tone. Because of all this, the most difficult piece to sing. This is not a matter of comparing this group to the Tabernacle Choir on Temple Square of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, however, those performers are all volunteers, (none get paid except for the conductors and organists) singing with pure intent, no hidden agenda or false pretence whatsoever in why they're devoting their lives to doing it, and you can feel it. Not that this group isn't giving or doesn't give their whole souls when singing this, but it's a feeling thing. One once of glorifying self shakes awry, throws off, the feeling this piece demands. Acoustics in the hall plays a big part in performing this piece. Thanks for sharing.

How crazy, I was at this exact concert when I was in high school, and we were very impressed with this choirs rendition of this song. So impressed that our choir director purchased the music and performed it about a year later with his adult choir!
