Heating water by wood fire is always the first thing that pops into my mind, mostly because it’s what I am use to. We had a wood stove and it was our main source of heat as well as cooking meals.

They can come together and slap up a huge barn in a day or two from ground up nothing there yesterday and couple days later huge magnificent bad arse barn or home but think they really shine on there barns because thats there lively hood where they keep there animals ,supply's , feed, hay & milk there cows so think thats why barns are more thought out there homes they just cook and sleep most I've seen been nothing fancy i'M sure they can build em fancy just chose not too ?

I call BS on that. They have free range chickens just like all farms did back in the day. The chickens eat dropped grains from other farm animals and bugs. We NEVER bought chicken food growing up!
