This sounds like something that plays in the head of someone who is mentaly ill . But it is weirdly catchy and I would listen to it in the gym.

I plan on making an obscenely long video discussing this but The Art Of Finding An Escape initially came from a very dark place. not to go all "here's a glimpse into my dark twisted mind devil emoji" on you but this is kind of a glimpse into the original deeply upsetting tone the album was going for. in hindsight, very glad that my mental health improved enough before the album dropped that the finished product feels nothing like this

I love how in all their live sets they include that one measure at 6:13. I feel like it was a nod to a part in the first song in Daft Punk's Alive '07

I remember being in middle school listening to the A cross the universe album for the 1st time & man I was pumped with adrenaline so much, felt like I discovered gold. I've never felt like that ever besides the daft punk 2007 album. The good old day's man.
