This song has a special place in my heart. The bouncy flow of it just never lags and carries you along and into the mood of pure egoless contentment the lyrics capture so well - that life is to be experienced, savored, the little things, in the now, the "inside" of experience, for which the outside exists to make possible. I can't help but thinking of a group of friends hunkering down is a cabin by the fireside getting a little high and remembering that this is where life is to be found - on the inside, outside so far away. Can you cook can you sow? I don't want to know. That is not what you need on the inside to make the time go." This song so well capture the "philosophy" of the psychedelic experience and of the 60's. I went from tripping and into meditation with this idea as my guide. All I wanted was to touch another's soul and feel the fascination and love, accomplishments be damned, not why I'm here! or something like that. This song was my template . .

Ever since realizing that Tuesday, November 5th 2024 will likely be the most critical election day in the history of our Nation, I cannot get this controversial John Lennon song out of my mind. Since it's release back in the 60's. no one seems to have an explanation for the significance of Nov 5 nor the huge explosion that follows at the end of this rather morbid song. I don't always go looking for mysterious paranormal or prophetic type signs or connections, but they often just seem to appear... and I have known a lifetime of them. They happen a lot more recently, more frequently. For instance... It just struck me odd that there is a Bible scripture mentioning what many people for many ages thought to be a 7th TRUMP (after the signs of the 6 Trumps or Trumpets that sound during the Apocalypse). Many people think it represents our 45th President, while many others think it is just a repeated message on one of the original 6 sounding Trumps/Trumpets signs in the Apocalypse, nothing more. Then.. Only 3 weeks ago when an assassination attempt was made on Trump's life, some calling it Divine Intervention or miracle his life was spared, I thought it very odd that names were related to the crime 'like a story' or mystery to be solved.... "Who did it?"... The BUTLER did it (Butler, PA) A CROOK tried to steal his life (CROOKS), and the Security Service person is a lying CHEAT in some kind of cover-up (CHEATEL). & same for Harris about Biden, a cover-up. Sort of like a Matrix (I still haven't seen that movie)... Remember how it was publicized years ago that some people found many revelations hidden in the Bible... O'bama, the Twin Towers, & many more, names, etc. Just strange for sure. It is a huge Universe, but God is so much infinitely bigger. So.. Some kinda' coincidences? Did anyone ever solve the question about November Fifth after all these many years? Or did they only make a guess? Perhaps Paul McCartney knows.
