Looks like it needs totally replacing or could you put patch liners over the holes and displacement? Don’t know why I’m so fascinated by drains, I’m a nurse!

Yes, that is correct, pipe relining is the best option here considering there are two 15 metre palm trees directly over the sewer line. As a nurse you would appreciate the comparison between pipe relining and a surgical stent. Also the comparison between high-pressure water jet root cutting aided by CCTV drain camera and arthroscopic surgery such as a meniscectomy. I say this because I have just recovered from a meniscectomy on my left knee about 8 weeks ago after putting up with the pain for nearly 3 years. All good now though, feel like a new man! lol :)
