I think that may be a male and female, the nale was rrying to amplex the slightly larger female.

You misspelled "preservative" in the brackets next to salt propionic acid on the ingredients list.

Girl bin was grow out bin. It’s a smaller habitat than the adults. It makes it easier for the froglets to find their food.

@finnsfrogfarm4890Ай бұрын
That’s one of the theories. We only see them doing that when they are hunting.
@ricktanner6968Ай бұрын
Yep, completely agree and found them useful as well - just when you need a controlled amount of water and/or in a tough to reach place, they work fantastic. Sprayer or mister not hitting that corner plant? Squeeze bottle. Dusted fruit flies crawled on the glass and left some Calcium powder behind? Squeeze bottle hits that spot just right.
@finnsfrogfarm4890Ай бұрын
Those are other great ways to use a squeeze bottle!

With a background in the fish keeping hobby, I find it is amazing that the tadpole eggs need so little water and no aeration for them to prosper.
@finnsfrogfarm4890Ай бұрын
Too much water with the frog eggs and the developing tadpole egg can die.

I’ve thought about getting a tree frog but they don’t seem diurnal or very active. I’d want something more interactive.
@finnsfrogfarm4890Ай бұрын
It sounds like dart frogs might be a better route to go. They are diurnal and active. Tinctorius are a larger and bolder dart frog.

Thank you for the heads up and sharing on this. Strange that it was not head first. Did the "predator" frog live and so far not have any issues?
@finnsfrogfarm4890Ай бұрын
We assume that the predator frog attacked from the bottom. So far the predator frog is doing fine. It might have had more problems if it had actually eating and was passing through.
