I've been following this build and while the kit looks complicated your steady approach has very good results. I've never built an F1 model car so far so it's interesting to see how it all goes together. 👍

Great work Tim!! Beautiful masked and painted!! You’ve nailed it. The chassis looks great up on its own feet too. As for decals, you have a nice, smooth, glossy finish there. You shouldn’t need to clear before decals with that. I never do beforehand when it’s a smooth finish. Just afterwords I do a quick coat to lock everything in.

Are they decals or dry transfers? I've used dry transfers before but never with water. Do the directions say to use water? They look great whatever they are. 👍
