Hollywood regularly made (and still makes) the same movie again and again by tweaking aspects of the story or by genre hopping. It's still a good film

I have my feasible theories about the reformed society, instead of somebody becoming petty to big thief, leave percentages commissions kick backs out , that has become so much of norm worldwide as fee for doing ‘ work’ speedy and with fee attached, I am talking about street desperation of thievery, you give them before it starts and becomes a ‘ habit’ and those steps taken at right time of support goes long way of stemming what begins as desperation to survive, then a habit too hard to shake off, that’s all there it is to it, also if you have more than enough and catch somebody dipping in find out which category it is , desperation or greed , desperation should be let go with warning and what that need wants, because after all that was the motivation to take, greed on other hand should be punished so even with enough it’s a nasty bad habit which needs to be broken that is fair justice always remember the desperation of existence in various layers are being given by your so called grounded systems going bad to worse by your leaderships without understanding what human life is all about flaws mistakes all part of it , and till those layers are not sorted out this mess chaos is never going to end in fact much worse with fuels ending a reality in near future

Howard was a bit mad. Thankfully he got out of the film business, but unfortunately not before he destroyed RKO.

If you have, like I did, worked in an old-fashioned pre-digital news room this is a work of art. I'm old enough to remember the building shaking as the presses started the print run. 😁😁😁😁😁

26 minutes in and this reminds me of driving a truck. Boring, tiring, and a hassle. I can't watch any more. But it's reasonably realistic, except for his Army truck doing 80 mph.

This great movie compares with Hell Drivers and other realistic truck films . Rigs are more comfortable and powerfull but the responsibility is the same for getting the goods to " market". I am a Scammell man. Thanks for this treat. Dave
