Tip: Remove the top (refill) plug first. Then you will be sure you can add your gear oil once you have drained the old gear oil.

Do you think the car would sound the same with just downpipe and res delete or tune also is needed because car would throw some check engine errors?

Clarification: You went from a 2016 Golf R to a 2019 S3, in those three yrs there were significant map revisions. I have driven mk6 and mk7 GTi, 2016 Golf R, 2018 Golf R and a 2019 S3. There is a huuuggeee difference from 16 to 18 Golf R, and almost next to none from Golf R 18 to S3 19. IMO it was the complete opposite, the Golf R 2018 is meant to be driven hard and the engine pulls all the way to redline. The S3 2019 is more refined and found it slightly tamed, and just a little heavier and laggy. The 2016 Golf R has some punch, but never not even close to the gnarly pulls from a stock 2018 MK7R, and how it glued to the road on race mode.

To all my SXT/SE/GT kings with a single pipe: there is a exhaust hanger right in front of the bolts, but with an extension right above the metal bar, you could easily open it. Also, I would strongly recommend using a torx bit instead of a hex for a better grip.

Pro Tip: Boss 302 shift knobs are lock tighted on at the factory and can be difficult and frustrating to remove. Simply put a hair dryer directly on the knob where it joins to the threaded shaft, set on high heat and leave there for 5 minutes. Then remove the hair dryer, and using a pair of leather driving gloves, grip the ball, twist like hell, and it WILL come off. Have faith. And good luck.

Is this applicable to a 2015 A3? My pump wiring is fried and awd is not working so I’m changing out the pump and doing a haldex/differential fluid flush
