Oh wanted to come back and say. I understand all about the kids change as they get older and you want to keep Christmas magical and traditions …same here and with the advent calendars too…mine are 14 and 17…and they only seem to want the chocolate…the older one is a minimalist (so doesn’t want nick nack calendars)… what do you do now that they are older for advent ? I’m curious 😅 I also buy them sentimental ornaments too (we have tonnes; I tend to get 2 or 3 depending on the year) I had to buy a 9ft white tree !! Which is gorgeous btw

Love the journal you make

I make cookie dough and use my cookie scoop and place them on parchment or waxed paper and freeze them. Once they are frozen I bag them up in Christmas ziplock bags and gift them frozen. That way I don’t t have to take time baking them and they can have hot fresh cookies when they want a treat. Sometimes I include sprinkles and icing depending on the cookies. Add a few candy canes and hot chocolate.

Call me weird, I don't care, but I always take my own sheets wherever we stay. 😄 And I make the bed with my bedding and I sleep so much more better. More work? I do not care! Hahaha!
