Um, dude, you forgot to put gravel under your infiltrators. Not good!
@irafair30155 ай бұрын
I was told by my inspector that gravel was not needed when using infiltrators. The manufacturers also state that gravel is not needed. If you were laying pipe gravel would be needed but not with infiltrators.

Hi, I have watched 50+ of your videos. You make so many beautiful and informative video content about Engineered plastic chambers, Synthetic aggregate leachfields, Tanks, Accessories for the onsite wastewater industry. All your video quality is good. But I noticed, the video views of other channels of the same keyword are very high compared to your video's views are very low. And I analyzed the reason. They have implemented SEO in their content which you haven't. And therefore your targeted visitors are not finding your content. Do you want to stay ahead of your competitors?

Not good enough! You needs straps going from front to back also. This way when the bundles in the middle decide to wiggle free like a Jenga puzzle the straps will keep them from taking flight out the back of your trailer. Another thing after 10 miles pull over and retighten straps. Do this often. That trailer should have 4 straps side to side and 2 straps front to back. I'm speaking from personal experience. 👍

I have experience installing both systems. The chambers are easier, cheaper and faster to install but do not increase or sustain the absorption of the soil, therefore the life of that system does not last very long. The pipe and gravel system has more absorption rate and is more efficient in the long run.
@frfarmranch38373 ай бұрын
Had a chamber system installed in my new house in 2017 as the perk hole tests allowed for this type of system. 6-7 years later it failed. Dirt compacts the chambers and eventually they clog up with dirt. I had to dig a fairly large hole at the end of my leach field to drain the water. Once you expose one of the chamber holes it gushes out like a hose. I'm currently in the works installing a traditional drain field myself.

Use reducer bushings for piping. Also whats with no grommets being used for holes through for piping on the risers; how are you able to get water tight connections to prevent soil intrusion with not grommets?! Video is so unprofessional! Tighten up Infiltrator!

Couldn't you attach the green corrugated pipe the pipe adapter ring first (say on your tailgate of your truck) and then attach the assembly to the tank? Would help avoid having to mount the 1/2" screw inside the tank which would be nice if your tank has waste in it. Just a thought.

EarthDate: Jan 4, 2021 North Central Florida, sandy soil, in the country: TRUE STORY: I installed 4 standard sections in 2003 for our washing machine to keep bleach out of the septic tank. Worked GREAT for 17 years, and then it didn't. Now, I'm digging it up to clean in out. MOMENT OF TRUTH: I also ran a downspout from the house into it. THEN planted pine trees. The silly things we do when we're young... Best to all. Mr. Brown

Whoever engineered this product has never lifted a hand tool out on a jobsite in their life. One of the most frustrating products I have ever had the opportunity to use. The risers connect to other risers rather easily but trying to connect a riser to a tank is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and frustrating. Would never recommend this product and will tell anyone and everyone not to use this product.
@kellygalloway63224 жыл бұрын
Hmmm...it certainly doesn't look difficult from the video, but I have never tried it myself or watched it being done, so I can't offer an informed opinion. If it is that difficult, the installer could request that the local IWT dealer install that first riser section on the tank at their yard/shop before they ship the tank to the job site. Marlin Environmental (a large and reputable septic installation and service company) seem to have figured it out and have made their own instructional video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXqtpYZ7hsiXiNU They certainly make it look very straightforward as long as you follow some basic instructions. Their tip to put the lid on when pushing down on the riser is a great suggestion that will save your knees!

Thank you for contacting Infiltrator. The answer to your question is no. Infiltrator’s IM-Series tanks are recommended for use in septic, rainwater/ stormwater storage, holding, and pump applications, or other non-potable uses.

I saw in another video, not from you guys, that stated there should be NO slope in the trench when using these systems. Is this true? I have not come across any discussion of prescribed slope in anything I have read or seen. I am actually having trouble seeing how the water makes it down the run as it is even with some slope, since it seems it would just soak into the ground within a very short distance.
@InfiltratorWaterTechnologies7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for contacting Infiltrator. We commonly recommend that trenches and beds are installed with no slope. It is ultimately prescribed by local regulatory code. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] with further questions.
