But WHERE does the robot start from? The home station is in the bedroom. BUT I would like it to clean the living room, which is right next to it. Do I have to carry the robot into the room, THEN start the cleaning, or can I choose the appropriate map (Livingroom in my example), LEAVE the robot at the docking station, press start cleaning and it should go in the room by itself?

Highly recommend staying away from Xaiomi. Their customer service and warranty is horrendous. We have one of these V9 robot vacuums. Never used the mop function, probably only used the machine ever week to fortnight. Failed just after a year and they provided no support.

Ours had a foam filter before the HEPA filter shown in this video. I was wondering where I can get a replacement for the foam. The foam piece is also referenced in the manual, but I don't see it with the filter when I look at replacement parts, and there is no numbers or other way to search for it, at least that I found.

Google Assistant can start cleaning, but when I specify a room, it says "that device is not setup yet. You can do that in Google Assistant settings." I've done this several times, even through Google Assistant, but it still just shows in Google Home, it doesn't show under Google Assistant > Devices. Anybody know how to configure it in Assistant?

Hi Viomi! I love this product, as it cleans and mops superior to other vacuums I've owned. There is a small problem when transitioning from hard floor to carpet. The vacuum cleaner lifts the carpet slightly with its side brush and push it around. Do you have a fix for this? 🙂
